The wrong online newspaper software package can spoil even the most inventive online publication. The essential part of producing an online catalog is picking out the software supplier to use. Setting the format for the brochure is merely a small part of their work.
Out of the features you should examine closely, simple usability is the main one. If you can’t run the software package it doesn’t make a difference how good it is claimed to be… Before selecting a supplier for the electronic magazine, make time to try different packages out. Further major preparations you need to make are safeguarding security. You should be concerned about hackers. Think about what is protecting your account. What about the content? Can the readers simply copy-paste your newspaper content or has the software vendor protection in place peventing these things? Is content secured by your e-publishing software vendor from copy-pasting by the common reader? When you’ve produced an electronic newspaper you need to make a business plan. Whatever your marketing plan may look like, you have to consider such things - perhaps not for every single issue but rather for your company overall. What use will you make of networking media? How are you treating advertisements? Current marketing means thinking about search engine demands as you edit content.
Can you mix paid for and free content? Can you offer several subscription options? Will you be monetizing the content ? How about providing summaries and teasers to market this magazine? What’s the accessibility of the ezine? Will it be private — then you’ll be able to look into all your hosting options or is it public? You will be best hosting directly with your provider. What have you planned for as regards back copies? Some workarounds need to be looked at in advance prior to being hit by an emergency. How is their technical support? Is it simply a list of FAQs? Are there handy “fix-it” tips which you’ll be able to actually use? Do they commit to their response time? Do they have 24/7 support? This is definitely a case of last but not least consideration. You really don’t want to discover the hard way that they’re actually not up to it! The decision you make here will be what determines if your publication goes well or not - consider carefully when choosing your vendor. Search Bing, Yahoo or Google etc. with the terms “create digital edition” to find further useful ideas.

Spoiling even the best electronic brochure is all too easy, even with all the hard work in the world, if you have poor digital magazine software. When you’ve chosen to produce an online publication the most important decision is to select the software supplier. Formatting your message is only a minute part of their business.
The most important part of the package is, naturally, it’s intuitiveness. If you can’t run the software it doesn’t make a difference how good it is being touted to be … Your electronic brochure should be important enough to you that you test out several providers.
In creating an online publication you also have to think about protective measures. Think about what protection is available for your account. What about the content? Is it possible for people to just copy-paste your brochure content or does the online publishing software vendor have protective measures to stopping this? Is content secured by your e-publishing software supplier from copying and pasting by the everyday reader?
You’ll also need to consider interactive collateral management to properly market your ezine. Whatever your marketing plan may look like, you will have to ponder such matters, maybe not for each individual issue but rather for the business overall. How will you use networking media? How are you handling ads? Selling your interactive journal will probably need search engine appropriate content. When you create digital editions, you’ll have to deal with old editions. What will the availability of your brochure be? Your vendor offering hosting has a certain amount of sense if it’s going to be widely available. Teasers are a great idea as advertising for this ezine. Prior to striking any emergency you need to consider a few things as well. In other words: tech support. Is it simple a matter of an FAQ page? Do they have a how-to guide? Check their response times. Try calling their hotline to test it out. This is admittedly a case of last not least consideration. Chances are you really don’t want to find out only when it’s too late that they’re actually attempting to cut corners in a detrimental way in this eminently critical field…
Consider your choices before you pick out a publication’s e-publishing software supplier. Try googling the terms “create online publication” to find further ideas.

What follows are excerpts form Mike Moore’s popular manual Public Speaking for Profit and Pleasure. Every month I receive numerous emails from people all over North America asking how I got into the speaking business and how they can too. To respond to these many inquiries I wrote Public Speaking for Profit and Pleasure. Here are ten timely tips, from my manual, to get you started on the path to profitable speaking.
1. You know that you might have what it takes to become a speaker if you feel compelled to speak. The fact that you were drawn to this article and clicked The Path to Profitable Speaking indicates a definite interest and a possible compulsion. If you feel compelled to speak you can easily learn how. You can accomplish whatever you put your mind to.
2. Good speakers enjoy what they do and the audience senses their enjoyment and responds positively. Enthusiasm is essential in an effective speaker.
3. If you want to become a successful, well paid speaker you must become well known. Promotion and publicity are vital to your success.
4. Leave your promotional footprints wherever you go so people find you easily.
5. After each speech ask those who hired you for a written testimonial. Use these testimonials, or parts of them, in your advertising and publicity. I have never had people refuse to provide a testimonial for me. Sometimes I have had to remind them, but no one has ever refused.
6.Access free publicity whenever possible. Write and submit press releases frequently. Writers and editors are always looking for new story material and your press release could result in an interview and a story being written about you, your work and/or your publications.
7. Some new speakers say that it is difficult to establish a reputation as a speaker when many businesses are reluctant to hire unknowns to in-service their employees. I solved this problem by offering to speak free of charge …with certain conditions attached of course.
8. To get speaking engagements you must present yourself to people looking for speakers. Every community has an abundance of organizations, associations and service groups in need of speakers for their conferences, banquets and in-service sessions. Make yourself known to them.
9.Write and record material related to the topics you speak on and offer these products for sale as back of the room items after every speech. Sales of these back of the room items frequently exceed the speaking fee you receive. Publish on demand using your computer and printer. Only have your products produced professionally when you see that they are selling well.
10. Promote yourself and your products within each speech, but in just the right dosage. Too much self promotion and you can turn your audience against you. Too little and they might ignore your products altogether.
Good luck on the path to profitable speaking.

If you are starving for traffic, can’t seem to consistently
draw thousands of visitors to your website each day and
struggle to get them to buy when they get there - you can
benefit from this technique.
For several months now I’ve consistently written and submitted
at least 2 articles each week.
The articles are NOT the crappy 300 word articles loaded with
keywords with very little added value for human readers, but
articles in the 500-800 word range that follow a very specific
formula.
Here’s how to write 2 articles each week in less than 60-minutes.
Step 1. Find One Compelling Problem Within Your Market
How do you find these? You can pull from your own experience,
what problems did you tackle this week that you could share with
others? Check the last few days of questions on forums related
to your topic - these forums are a real idea bank. Survey your
subscribers and customers to find out what they are struggling
with - this should give you enough articles for an entire month
if you ask the right questions. The key point is that you want
to identify one, very specific, high demand issue per article.
Too many people ramble on, try to address multiple issues or just
want to tell a story — that’s a writing hobby, not a business.
Step 2. Work On a Riveting Title
Focus on capturing your audiences attention, pumping up their
interest, even border on contoversial. Relate your topic to
a hot current event. I wrote an article several months ago
about leadership traits of Walt Disney that related to building
your infoproduct business. That article has pulled in several
thousand visitors on its own and still attracts huge search
engine traffic to this day.
Step 3. Start By Presenting The Challenge
You know and your reader knows the challenge you are trying to
solve - but you want to use the first paragraph to really
re-create the “feeling” of having the problem in the reader’s
head. You are setting them up to really look forward to the
rest of your article - where you will solve their problem.
Step 4. Offer A Simple, Effective Solution Linked To Your Website
What separates super-charged, traffic generating articles from
those that disappear into the ether? You need to offer your
readers hope by outlining a simple, fast solution to their challenge
while NOT giving away all of the methods behind HOW to achieve the
solution. You want to convince the reader that YOU can solve their
problem, all the while giving them the impression that there is more,
so much more, that they could still find by clicking on a link
to your website, opt-in or other follow-up system.
Be consistent. Once you complete your articles, send them out
to distribution directories, build private publisher lists, and
post them to your articles directory on your website - even post
them to your blog, if you have one.
Finally, generating a massive stampede of traffic to your website
is possible for anyone - the trick is spending your limited time
on the right activities and methods.

generation model available today to pump truckloads of customers

New writers are very vulnerable and need to be handled gently,
but not with kid-gloves. Keeping a friendly tone is very
important for the reviewer. Because we are working online, we
can’t see each others faces or body language. You may slip into
a tone that sounds arrogant and bossy to the author, but is
completely opposite your intention; especially if there are a
lot of errors or suggestions to make, and the reading wasn’t
easy. Your mood will show through. It isn’t easy to give
constructive suggestions and avoid destruction of self-esteem
with the same comments. It’s always good to sum up your comments
with a few friendly words of encouragement, and always, always
point out the good stuff!
Pointing out every technical error or element issue in one
review can be overwhelming to new writers and the reviewer. The
ideal way is to work with them step-by-step. Small writing
groups are helpful for this.
As a reader/reviewer of novice writers, I try to look past the
spelling errors for the story hidden within. Knowing the author
likes what he wrote, my job is to help him see how a few changes
may make it better. Sometimes it’s impossible and I advise him
to correct the spelling and I’ll try again.
#a side note: I think those who advise against editing until the
story is finished must not be active readers or reviewers of
novice writers. Proofreading and spell checks should be done
before posting for reviews.
True self-esteem can only be built on truth. When someone has
truly accomplished something good from a bad first draft,
they’ll know; they can feel it, and will be justly proud. To
avoid hurting a writer’s feelings, especially a young writer,
you may be tempted to tell them their work is well written, when
it wasn’t. Leave that to their family and friends, it’s their
job. The writer joined a writing site in order to learn how to
write; don’t deny him that opportunity or the pride of
accomplishment. Any item can be improved with honest reviews if
the writer wants to work at it. Never rewrite it for him, it
will no longer be his work and he will trash it. I would.
Reviewing honestly is an integral part of writing - and it’s
difficult to do. Reviewers can get a reputation of being unfair.
This is a valid concern, and I too, have it. Remain aware of
your tone and always encourage, it will do you both good.
