Only Roses Will Win Her over
Most people understand that flowers are ornamental, make special gifts, and can perfume any setting. However, many do not realize that flowers have a language of their own. Of all flowers, roses are probably the most popular and can say the most. One reason is that they are offered in many appealing colors which can be arranged to make almost any statement. There are roses to fit almost any price range, taste, or occasion. As if that were not a good enough reason to send them, the Internet has made ordering simple and convenient.
But what if you are not ready to declare your undying love? There is a rose for that, too. If you want to let someone know you are enchanted, purple should be the color of the flowers. Multi-colored arrangements could mean you love everything about the person while soft pink or white typically represent softer feelings. White usually signifies innocence. Tiny pink buds or blossoms are a good choice for a younger girl, such as a sister or friend. They are perfect for a birthday, ballet recital, or special event. Yellow shows friendship, while orange signals an intense interest. Peach is a hopeful color and states that the giver is looking forward to a happy future.
Always remember though, when you receive your flowers, a person does not always mean to convey anything except they were thinking of you. Reading meaning into a gift, while fun, can be a disaster if you think they are sorry for something they have not done. You could be interpreting something into your bouquet that was not meant to be conveyed by the giver. Men especially might not be aware of the meaning behind the roses he sent, so just assume for your sanity, that he just meant to say “I Love You” and nothing else. Unless he really does owe you an apology, be gracious and believe it. All is well that ends well. Or, ends with a beautiful bouquet of the luscious sweet fragrance of the legendary Red Roses of Love.
