Content is King!
Content is what Search Engine robots look for when they decide
how high to rank a web site for certain keywords. Let’s define
what we mean by content. To a search engine, content includes
words, sentences, and paragraphs that are FULL of the keywords
that you want to be found for. Please understand that all
graphics are totally ignored by the search engines. A web site
with nothing but graphics will NEVER get good rankings on the
search engines. Your home page has to sell the rest of the site!
It should have at the very least a few well written paragraphs
that tell the world what you do or what you offer. These
paragraphs should include as many of the keywords from your
master list as you can logically weave into the page. Don’t make
your site awkward to read though. If you can’t use the word on
the home page, just work it in on another page.

Search Engines love fresh sites!
The search engines will re-index your site periodically to see
if anything has changed since the last visit. Stale sites will
tend not to rank as highly as sites that are constantly being
updated. Try to make minor improvements to all of your pages at
least once a week. This is why we love blogging, we are updating
our sites daily.
Search Engines really love sites that undergo changes on a
regular basis and visit them more often so keep your sites
updated as often as possible within reason.
One of the easiest methods that has been used in the last couple
of years is blogging. Blogging allows you to more easily build
and update your content on a more regular basis. However, if you
have a large number of blogs you are trying to keep fresh this
can still be difficult. Enter WordPress Auto Blogger.
WP Autoblogger has just been released by Jason DeVelvis and is
revolutionizing the blogging industry by enabling the user to
plug into an article directory with over 360 categories of 8,000

The internet is evolving rapidly as its uses grow in number and variety. More and more users are shopping online, chatting with their friends, or just browsing the web for something interesting. But the net isn’t an entirely safe place; some people out there are waiting to take advantage of you and invade your privacy. There are some special kinds of computer program that can help to protect yourself against such threats. Let’s see how a simple free spyware remover program can help.
How does it work?
Spyware programs are little pieces of software that transmit information about you and your computer to someone else on the internet. It can follow your net usage to see what kind of web-sites you prefer, which programs you use or where you do your online shopping. Some can read private documents, including e-mail and credit card numbers. To prevent this from happening, it is advisable that you protect your computer using a free spyware remover.
How does spyware get on your computer?
You don’t install spyware, but spyware gets installed on you. They are often part of other free programs
that you download from undependable sources on the web or borrow from your friends. It’s like an add-on that may or may not be mentioned in the small print, which is something that nobody ever reads.
How do you recognize spyware?
If you’ve been experiencing unexplained pop-ups lately, or been receiving a lot of unwanted mail, then try to remember if you installed some unverified software on your machine in recent times. If yes, then it is quite probable that you have spyware on your computer. In some cases, you may receive unwanted info about products that are somehow related to something you told a friend in a past e-mail conversation. If that keeps happening, it’s almost an unmistakable sign of spyware activity.
How do you remove spyware?
The simplest and easiest way to get rid of spyware is to install a free remover that you can download from the internet. Often internet service providers know about the problems created by spyware, and can recommend you a good free remover or they can give you one. Just ask them which one is right and tell them what symptoms you have been experiencing: too much spam, or your computer slowing down because of too many pop-ups. It is very easy to install a free spyware remover, just by following the steps and clicking on the ‘next’ button. If you think one program is not effective, you can always uninstall it and download another.
How to prevent spyware?
You can prevent spyware by reading up on web security and by being choosy about what software you install on your computer. After all, prevention is always better than cure. But just to be on the safe side, it is a good idea to keep a free spyware remover on your machine and check things once in a while. If you want a more professional solution than the free versions provide, you can buy a pro spyware remover. Remember, you have the right to your privacy, and nobody has the right to invade it, unless they have a valid legal/moral reason or your specific consent.

Activity Keeps You Young
Life thrives on action. People who savor life fill their days with activity, and when they’re not active, they feel less than what they ought to be. Action allows you to avoid feeling sluggish and dull, conditions that occur when you prematurely stop your momentum.
Life thrives with activity in that increased activity pumps life-giving blood through your veins and arteries at a greater rate. It’s the boost to blood racing through your body while supplying your cells and organs with health enriching oxygen and nutrients, and flushing away deposits of harmful toxins. Plenty of enjoyable exercise helps to rid your body of built-up waste deposits that take years away from your life span.
Inactivity is like a narcotic - deceptive with a promise of pleasure - it distracts you from normal pursuits and allows stagnation to occur. Once it has a hold over you, it doesn’t let you go.
Toxins increase, because they become settled in cells and tissues rather than being flushed away by an ample blood supply. If you’re feeling dull or listless, you have blockages that cause your inactivity and prevent you from obtaining your dreams.
Positive Action Gets Things Done
You dream of what you want from life. As the years pass, certain dreams don’t happen, and you’ll set aside some dreams and replace them with new ones. To have a chance of realizing your dreams, you must focus upon what is essential to fulfill them and then take action to achieve the desired result. Cavett Robert, one of America’s outstanding speakers says the following about taking action:
“A constructive life is built of the things we do - not of the things we don’t do. Never forget that the only material used in building a constructive life is positive action.”
Positive action gets things done. Some people are famous for being a dreamer, but these people most likely followed their dreams by taking action. Successful dreamers - writers, builders, inventors, speakers and others - took action to transport their dreams from thought into reality.
Know What You Want From Life
Living your life with any degree of momentum requires action and action requires doing something. Your determination focuses an action and brings it to a point of completion. The strength of your determination is proportionate to the probability of your success.
Clear, organized and well-conceived thoughts inspire actions that don’t waste energy. Often, people live their lives drifting from one experience to another, wasting both time and energy. People “drift” when they either don’t have a plan or simply don’t act upon their plan.
Those people will find that their life is not on course. They aren’t living joyfully and successfully. They aren’t sure how to avoid “drifting.” And are not sure how to direct their course.
Having a Goal Directs Your Course
To direct your course, you need to be clear about where you want to go - you need a goal. The more clearly you etch a goal into your mind, the easier the goal will be to accomplish. A goal gives you a destination; deep thought gives you a plan and focused action gives you the possibility to attain your plan.
While working on your plan, rest and recharge your energy, especially if your goal is difficult to achieve. Allow your mind to rest because you come across many stressful situations. Know how to deal with your stress. Some stress causes too much action - frantic action - and some stress causes too little action - laziness.
The first step toward having a satisfying, joyful life is to begin to know yourself well. The time you spend in meditation, deep thought or prayer will give you insight and momentum to take action on your life’s plan.

Spring has sprung! Even more important than buds, birds, and bees, spring brings buyers! When buyers are looking for a place to nest, they would really rather not see problems. As it turns out, nearly every home inspected has problems or imperfections of some sort or size. Most issues are very minor and simple to correct. Almost all are a result of deferred maintenance.
Most of these simple deferred maintenance problems, when discovered during the home inspection, cause the majority of the headaches when trying to bring a contract to close. With the five quick checks described below it is probable that 90% or more of the minor maintained items typically discovered in the home inspection could be eliminated, and with them a great portion of the time and stress associated with their correction:
1) Dirty Filter and Coils in the Heat Pump. The clean and efficient flow of conditioned air as well as the longevity of this very expensive system is dependant on proper airflow. A professional cleaning is most always well under $100. Routine filter replacement can be done by a homeowner for about a dollar.
2) Poor Caulking of Ceramic Tile in the Tub and Shower Area. The cost to repair or replace a rotted shower wall often exceeds thousands of dollars. This is an avoidable event! A homeowner can accomplish caulking of tiled areas easily for under $20. If a crack in the caulk or grout is visible, you can believe it’s large enough for water to pass!
3) Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) not Properly Functioning. GFCI’s are the electrical outlets that have the “press” and “test” buttons. These devices are critically important in reducing the chance for electrocution. The homeowner can test the devices by pushing the “test” button. The cost of a new GFCI is less than $10. They can be installed in less than 10 minutes.
4) Amateur Workmanship. When something looks like an amateur did it, that means an amateur did it, even if the perpetrator was paid for his work! When amateurs do things, the materials are often improper for the intended purpose or of poor quality. Many times they are both. Seldom are proper permits pulled or inspections performed when work is performed by amateurs. Amateur work is also difficult to maintain. Amateur work and the people who perform it always complicate a closing.
5) Wood Rot. Closing contracts sure would be simpler without wood rot. It sure would be nice to see a home listed that said “clear WDO on file”. Consider doing the WDO inspection at the time of listing to greatly reduce the greatest challenge in real estate.
The act of selling real estate can be made simpler, more enjoyable, and more profitable by educating buyers and sellers about preventative maintenance. Spring is a time of renewal - renew your interest in home care and take a few simple steps to keep safe, comfortable, and ready for some summer sun!

1) Don’t try to make the grieving person feel better. YOU CANNOT. For many grievers it only serves to make them feel guilty or worse. Grievers MUST experience the pain of grief for healing to ultimately occur.
2) Don’t tell the griever to give it time. Time has stopped for the griever. Life proceeds in slow motion. Life is too surreal to be identified with time.
3) Don’t try to divert the griever’s attention away from their pain by talking about something else. If you do, when you exit their presence, the reality will generally hit all the harder. Also, it may seem to the grieving that you are uncomfortable with them talking to you about their grief. If they sense this, they will alienate themselves from you.
4) Don’t be afraid to talk about the person who has died by name. If it makes you uncomfortable, it may want to assess your preparedness for helping. To recover from grief, the griever must have a realistic picture of the dead.
5) Don’t be frightened by tears…the griever’s or your own. Tears are apertures of release and help the griever express their sorrow in healthy ways with your presence as a cushion of warmth and empathy.
6) Don’t be concerned about saying the right things. Let the grieving person talk. Just listen and encourage their talking. Your presence is more meaningful than anything you can say.
7) Don’t argue with grieving individuals. Instead, reassure. You may hear statements such as, “I wish I had done this or had been more considerate” and so forth. Reassure them that they did what they could have done at the time not knowing _______ (name of deceased) would die when he/she did.
Don’t use euphemisms and flowery language. Generally, it only makes the situation seem more artificial and unreal. For example, don’t say “passed away” or “expired” when you mean “died.” The griever need to hear “dead.”
9) Don’t be afraid of silence. Silence on the helpers part show that you do not have all the answers and do not feel the need to pretend that you do. Furthermore, it gives grievers time to process thought and express feelings.
10) Don’t make general statements of help such as “If you need me, give me a call.” Chances that they will call are almost nil. Instead, be specific. For example, tell them about a group support group being conducted in their area; or tell them you will stop by next week to see if there is some housework you can help them with; or ask if you can bring dinner by tomorrow.
11) Don’t isolate grievers. Don’t cut your conversation or visit short because you are uncomfortable or because you are too busy. (Never look at your watch or the clock in their presence). Be ready with gentle words and a listening ear. Your sincerity and concern is the best proof to the griever that he/she still has resources to draw from.
12) Don’t become impatient. Many grievers ramble on and on and repeat themselves in their shock and confusion. Supporting with patience, empathy and compassion reveals your care.
13) Don’t be judgmental or rejecting. Grievers are hurting badly. They do not need your judgments and abandonment at this difficult time in their lives.
14) Don’t tell grieving people you know how they feel. YOU DON’T. Even though many helpers have also experienced loss due to death, each experience is different and felt differently. Your pain is never someone else’s pain.
15) Don’t let your own needs determine the experience for the griever.
16) Don’t push the bereaved into new relationships before they are ready. They will let you know when they are open to new experiences.
17) Don’t impose your value system on the bereaved. Your beliefs or ways of doing things may not be theirs.
18) Don’t elaborate on your personal experiences of loss to the bereaved.
19) Don’t let the griever forget their children’s grief and special needs during this time.
20) Don’t be afraid to touch, hold, hug (etc.) the griever. The feelings generated is worth more than a thousand words.

I am sure you have all heard by now how the secular forces in our country are attacking the true meaning of Christmas. These secular forces are trying to literally replace the term “merry Christmas” with “happy holidays.” They are trying too re-name our traditional Christmas tree as the “holiday tree.” They are trying to take out the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph from the manger scenes.
President Bush himself has taken out the term “merry Christmas” from his yearly standard Christmas card that he sends out in an attempt to try and be politically correct. Many of our major department and retail stores have also replaced the term “merry Christmas” with “happy holidays” for fear of offending the minority in our country if they are not Christians.
In the last poll I saw taken, it has been estimated that 80-85% of the people in our country still consider themselves to be Christians. We are thus looking at 15-20% of our population either being atheists, agnostics or of another faith and religion.
In an effort to try and appease and not offend this small minority, many in the political, academic and social fields are literally trying to take out the true meaning of Christmas - the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And surprisingly, many liberal Christians are now in this secular camp.
I have seen many of them on the local news and cable talk shows. They are telling the rest of us conservative and traditional minded Christians that we are getting too upset over nothing, that we should be willing to completely separate Church from state, that we are too thin skinned and that we need to go along with this secular agenda and take our faith and belief right out of any kind of public arena.
As a result of this dark side attack, many Christians have risen up and have done battle with the secular forces trying to remove Christianity from the public square. We have been successful in some of the court battles along with some of the battles against some of the schools who are also trying to remove every tenant of Christianity in their teaching systems.
For those of you who don’t know what the word “secular” means, Webster’s Dictionary describes it as follows:
“Worldly, profane, heathen. Relating to worldly things as distinguished from things relating to church and religion; not sacred or religious, temporal.”
Another term that you will often hear is the phrase “secular humanism.” Webster’s describes this term as follows:
“Humanism that systematically opposes the introduction of religious ideas or standards into the functions of the state, especially into public education. A system of doctrines and practices that disregards or rejects any form of religious faith and worship.”
Remember this word. You will be seeing a lot more of this demonic movement in the coming years.
Per the series of articles I have done on all the end time events that will be occurring before Jesus returns to us for His second coming, one of the heavier signs that will be occurring will be the moral disintegration of many people from all walks of life.
The Bible tells us that in the latter days many people will become lovers of self, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, slanderers, brutal, without self-control, headstrong and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. The Bible also tells us that some of these people will be falling for “doctrines of demons.”
There is no doubt in my mind that the secular agenda and their basic philosophy is a demonic doctrine straight from the pit of hell. Not only do they not believe in God - but they want to try and take Him right out of any kind of pubic arena - even if they are considered to be in the minority!
You thus have liberal judges, teachers, professors and politicians who are doing everything they can to try and remove God from all of the public areas of our life. They are doing everything they can to try and remove the Bible and the Ten Commandments from every major public area of our lives.
Many of our school children have literally lost their faith in God and Jesus by the time they graduate from some of these liberal and secular colleges. If that child has not been raised up with a good, solid Christian upbringing, he will become easy prey for some of these demonic professors who are teaching them that man does not need a God to answer too and that man and science can eventually solve all the world’s problems.
What you will find that is really funny in all of this is that these secular forces are not attacking any of the other false religious faiths and beliefs. They are not attacking any of their holidays or trying to take out any of their system of beliefs out of our public arenas.
The reason for that is that all of these other false religions and beliefs are not considered a threat to them and their beliefs. Christianity is the only faith and religion that will draw a major battle line in the sand and call out things the way they really are. Christianity is the only faith that will call man as he really is - a sinner in need of a Savior.
Secularists don’t want to be told that they are all sinners. They don’t want to be told that they need God’s grace and mercy through the death of Jesus Christ in order to receive redemption and a pardon for their sinful states and natures.
They don’t want to be told what they can and cannot do. They want total freedom of expression and they don’t want to have to answer to a real live living God for the moral decisions they want to make with their lives. In other words, they do not want any moral absolutes dictating how they should live in this life.
This is why you are seeing such a fierce and relentless attack on Christianity in every area that they think they can get away with. With us now approaching what I believe are the latter years as told to us in the Bible, I am afraid that not only is the secular movement not going to be going away, but it will be getting stronger in the coming years, eventually leading up to a real live antichrist who will literally be ruling this entire world for the last 7 years on this earth.
If a real live antichrist is really coming to rule this entire world, then you can bet that an antichrist spirit will start to invade the entire world to help prepare and set up for his coming. And that is exactly what you are starting to see more of. That is why some of these secular movements are getting much more bold and much more aggressive with some of the things they are now doing.
You now have an atheist who is trying to take out the term “in God we trust” off our national currency. This man has now filed the appropriate actions with the supreme court in an attempt to try and do this. Many secular teachers are trying to keep our children from reading and bringing their Bibles into the schools. They are also trying to stop any type of prayer groups from forming inside the schools.
The battle lines are now really being drawn between God’s people and the rest of the unbelieving world. Now, more than ever, God will be looking for anointed soldiers to do battle against some of this demonic secular activity that has now launched a full scale attack against Christianity.
We have good solid Christian men and women in the field of politics, the court systems, the teaching professions and the media. Some of these men and women have been instrumental in getting a lot of this secular activity either defeated or at least stalled to some degree.
But the battle is now on and it will only be intensifying in the coming years. This latest attack against Christmas is just another torpedo shot that we are going to have to deal with. With this secular force being more in the minority rather than the majority in this country, this means that we can win some of these battles if there is enough of a public outcry from the believing majority. You can write, email or call your local senators, congressmen, school officials and local stores and chains to voice your opinions on all of these hot issues.
Look how far the homosexual movement has been able to advance its cause and movement with all of their protests and public outcries. They have literally been able to get their entire movement accepted by many in our country as normal acceptable behavior. The squeaky wheel still gets the grease - and we can all do the same with some of the secular demonic activity that has now invaded us right in the heart of where we all live and work at.
To those Christians who consider themselves liberal and who are siding with some of these secular agendas in trying to remove Jesus and everything that He stands for not only out of Christmas, but out of the rest of the public areas of our lives as well - I will give you with two bone chilling verses from our Bible that perfectly describes what is going on with all of this.
Our Bible tells us that we have to be representatives and ambassadors for Jesus, that we are to carry His light and testimony and we are not to be ashamed to testify on His behalf to the rest of the world.
President Bush had a major window to do all of this by keeping the merry Christmas in his Christmas card, but he buckled under the secular and political pressure to try and be politically correct. As a result, he lost a golden opportunity to show the rest of the world how strong his faith really was in his Lord and Savior. That is why the Bible tells us that our faith will be considered “dead” without any good works to back it up.
As I stated at the top of this article, now, more than ever, God is drawing a major battle line in the sand. He is asking each and every Christian to take a stand and decide which side of the line they are going to stand on.
You can either choose to totally dedicate and commit your life and your way of living to God and Jesus, or you can choose to take a stand with the world in general and walk and live with how they want you to live in this life. That is why the Lord has told us in His Word that we will literally become His enemy if we choose the world and the ways of the world over Him and how He wants us to live in this life.
For a complete copy of this article and what those two bone chilling verses from Scripture are, you can click on this link and it will bring you right into the full article.

The importance and usefulness of a skylight filter cannot be overestimated. Everyone should have at least one. Preferably, they should have one for every lens they own. These should be permanently fixed to the filter thread.
Skylight filters are cheap, freely available and come in various filter thread sizes. This means that everyone can afford one and there will be a filter to fit every lens (or almost).
The primary function of a skylight filter is to cut down excessive UV rays which, in turn, make scenes in the distance appear to have a blue haze. The filter effectively reduces the haze and blue colour cast. Pictures of hills and mountains in the distance look clearer.
The secondary function, and why you should have one on each lens, is that of protection. Like a lens cap, the skylight filter fits over the front of the lens and helps to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust. It also protects the lens from the effects of oily and greasy fingers, stick hands and from accidental knocks. It is much cheaper to replace a skylight than it is to replace a damaged lens.
The filter is very light and has no effect on the exposure value needed for your photography (they do not stop the normal amounts of light getting in).

If you just take a first glance on numerous eBay business opportunities website, you may feel that it’s too big, complicated and confusing. You might even think that only Internet professionals or Internet veterans can figure its complexities and find an eBay business opportunity. This is pure speculation.
If you take advantage of an eBay business opportunity, you’ll come to realize that even Internet amateurs can easily learn and succeed. In fact, every eBay business opportunity is conceived out of resourcefulness and not out of internet intricacy. People with just about any Internet skill level can earn really large profits just by taking time to find the right eBay business opportunity.
EBay is constantly growing and improving. Endless changes are being implemented. For every improvement on an existing eBay business opportunity or newly introduced scheme, the basics are always defined. You will come to find that it’s fairly easy and relatively simple. What’s more, you don’t have to take tremendous risks in trying out any type of eBay business opportunity, whether as seller or buyer.
It is understandable why the eBay business opportunity is always sought after by many people all over the globe. There is always a chance of succeeding and earning great profits with less risk and cost involved.
There is always a brilliant eBay business opportunity that’s waiting to be discovered. One idea even means that you could get a large sum of money in a matter of three (3) days.
This eBay business opportunity springs up when you buy an item on eBay which had resale rights. Then, start up an agreement with an eBay powerseller.
Here’s the scenario: there is a desirable product up for sale at $10 and then, suddenly given to a slashed price of $5. While this could be reason for caution, if this offer is given to you by someone you’ve already bought similar items from before, you’ll know that the offer can be trusted.
This half price offer is available for only 48 hours, though. This is because the person offering the half-priced item has an agreement with the seller. The condition is to offer half price for a period of 2 days.
So, the outcome is this, the half price offer is too good to pass up. And actually, 3 out of 10 people offered with this eBay business opportunity decide to buy. This happens every time such eBay business opportunity is offered!
Let’s say 200 people are offered with this eBay business opportunity. Do the math: multiply a third of this by $5, then expect to find this amount on your bank account in a matter of 3 days!
That’s not even the whole story. Supposing the item has a higher price? Even if it is slashed by half, it would still get you ample profits once you see the lump sum on the bank.
Getting excited? This eBay business opportunity, like all others, works fairly simple. You could apply this on products that are especially on demand and highly desirable. Check out also if someone else is offering it for a lesser price.
The next step is sending an email message to an eBay powerseller or someone you know who has a credible eBay shop. Just stipulate that if they will offer your item to their past buyers at half price, you’ll go for 50-50 profit sharing. But make sure they are selling similar products you are offering. This will make them take an interest and find that the eBay business opportunity you’re offering is hard to pass up.
Settle pay-offs by setting up a free web site and follow their instructions. You can also set up a PayPal link in it. Once someone agrees to offer your item to their list, send them a link to your temporary website. The powersellers will then send emails of the temporary half-price offer and your website link to all their past buyers. In order to inspire some urgency to buy, the email centers on the fact that the eBay business opportunity being offered to them is limited and gives the offer’s expiration date.
Consequently, after the 2 days period, you close down the temporary website, check your money and show it to the powerseller you struck up a deal with. As promised, pay the 50% of the earnings to his Paypal account. The other half is yours to keep.
So, there you have it! Another eBay business opportunity scheme that’s sure to give positive results and nice profit. The key is to take advantage and never be daunted.

I believe strongly that prayer and scripture are two of the most powerful tools for the Christian. Much of my writing centers around these. But there are many times that I can identify with the father who brought his son to Jesus in Mark 9:14-24. “I believe, but help my unbelief.”
How many of us read the Bible’s precious promises and pray over troublesome situations, just to have the fear and worry return as soon as we’re done? How much are we actually trusting God? It is difficult to let go of the problem. We want to take it back and try to fix it ourselves.
Here are a few suggestions that I’m working on. Maybe you will find them helpful, also.
1. Confess your fear and lack of faith to God.
Our pastor always says that confession is the beginning of healing. Simply tell God that you are struggling in this area. Tell him that you have the head knowledge, but you need the assurance in your heart. He knows our thoughts anyway. We might as well talk it out with him.
2. Counteract fear with positive affirmations.
When the worry starts to creep back in, don’t just lie down and take it. Fight back. Say to yourself - even out loud - “I’ve given this problem to God. He is able and willing to take care of it. He is already working on the answer, even if I can’t see it yet. It he can create the universe, and raise Jesus from the dead, this is easy for him!”
Then start thanking him for loving you, for caring, for his power and wisdom. Thank him for the answer. Start picturing the prayer being answered in your mind.
3. Think of all the times God has answered prayer and has solved your problems.
This is where it is helpful to have a prayer notebook or journal. Jot down prayer needs and requests and date them. As time goes by, you can look back over your notebook and witness God’s mighty power in your life. When you see how he has brought you through something, it gives you more faith for the next time.
4. Realize that this is a growing process.
Don’t get too down on yourself if you are weak in the faith area. Don’t spend energy on self-condemnation. None of us have arrived spiritually. We are all growing up in Christ at different rates of speed. The important thing is that we are growing. Hopefully, you have more faith than you did a year ago. If not, pray for it. The Lord wants to give it to you.
Isaiah 26:3 says that God will keep us in perfect peace if our mind is stayed on him, because we trust him. Ask God to give you the ability to keep your mind anchored and focused on him instead of the problem. Then you’ll start to experience his perfect peace that passes all understanding.

Affiliate Marketing is a concept with it’s own terms. To get started, you’ll have to know what the middlemen and affiliate program pitches mean when they use them, otherwise it will strike you as a bunch of gibberish. For those of you with some experience already in this matter, these terms are for the beginners.
Ad Copy: A written sales pitch, also known simply as ‘copy’. Most follow the AIDA form (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and examples can be seen on any site that’s selling something.
Affiliate Link: This is how the company knows who to pay. These are the hypertext links given to you by the affiliate program that differentiates you from generic traffic at large. Unless you send someone through an affiliate link, you don’t get paid.
Affiliate Program: An agreement with a given company that has this sort of program to advertise and promote their products in exchange for payment, usually as a commission per sale. You do this at your own expense, although the programs themselves are free to join. I have heard of those that require payment to join, but I strongly recommend against them, as there are plenty of good programs you can join for free.
Commission: This is how you get paid by all affiliate marketing programs. It’s not a salary or a fee, and taxes are not deducted and thus your problem to track. Commissions are usually expressed in percent, although some are given in dollars per sale.
Conversion: The percentage of people you send to an affiliate site that buy. 1% is the industry average. Getting conversions is the name of the game in affiliate marketing.
Creative: The collective reference given by some programs to the sum total of all their advertising stuff, like ad gif’s, testimonials, product photos, and copy text.
Pay Per Click: You get paid anytime someone clicks on a link from your site. The biggest example of a program that does this is Google AdSense, which gives you Pay Per Click ads to put your site and pays you every time someone clicks on it. Miva ARX and Yahoo! also have ad programs that work this way.
Pay Per Lead: This one is not common but very handy. When you send someone to a site and they sign up for a free trial, e-mail list or sales call, it’s called a lead. Some companies pay you to give them leads, which is good for you, because you are getting paid to give a potential customer something for free.
Pay Per Sale: The most common ways to get paid in affiliate programs. When you send someone to a site and they buy a product, eBook, download, or membership, you get paid a percentage of the gross on it.
Super Affiliate: An affiliate marketer in the top 5% of all affilate marketers. These are the ones that make 80% of all the commissions in affiliate marketing and the aspiration of all affiliate marketers looking to get rich doing this.
Two-Tier Program: An affiliate program that pays you for your sales and those of anyone you recruit. For all intents and purposes, if you recruit and train your second tier, they will make you money.
Some programs are also multi-tier, which means you get paid on downline several tiers beneath you or more.
These will get you started with your affiliate marketing understanding.
